Patient Care Coordinator (Front Desk / Medical Reception)

AID Performance Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to support our orthopedic and sports medicine clinic in Ashburn, VA.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, personable, dependable, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced healthcare environment. We are looking for someone who can help create an exceptional patient experience while keeping front desk operations running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls and assist new and existing patients
Schedule evaluations and follow-up appointments
Verify insurance benefits and explain patient coverage/responsibility
Collect co-pays, balances, and patient paperwork
Manage patient communication via phone, text, and email
Assist with patient intake and onboarding
Maintain organized front desk and clinic workflow
Coordinate schedules with providers and staff
Help reduce cancellations and improve schedule efficiency
Support daily clinic operations and administrative tasks

Preferred Experience

Medical front desk, dental, PT, chiropractic, med spa, or healthcare office experience preferred
Experience with scheduling and customer service
Comfortable discussing payments and collecting balances
Strong communication and multitasking skills
Ability to stay organized and professional under pressure
Experience with EMR/EHR systems is a plus
